Add a special touch to your dinner table with these easy homemade napkin rings.

Homemade Napkin Rings
Ribbon Rings
Materials and Tools:
Ribbon, various colors and styles
Tape
Scissors
Instructions:
- Wrap ribbon around napkin to determine proper length, allowing for ½” overlap. Cut ribbon and lay underneath napkin.


- Roll tape onto itself so that it is sticky on both sides, then affix to one end of the ribbon. Fold the non-sticky ribbon end up onto front of napkin, then press sticky side down firmly.



Beaded Rings
Materials and Tools:
Gold elastic bead cord or embroidery floss
Jewelry beads and charms
Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut a 6-8″ length of bead cord, long enough to wrap around napkin and knot into place. Thread beads and charms onto it.


- Lay beads and charms face down and place napkin on top of it. Tie knot in cord and trim ends.



Ivy Ribbon Rings
Materials and Tools:
Ivy
Floral wire
Ribbon
Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut a short length of floral wire. Wrap ivy around napkin and use floral wire to secure in the back.


- Tie ribbon around ivy on front of napkin, adding a bow. Trim extra ribbon.



Floral Rings
Materials and Tools:
Floral stems
Ribbon
Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut length of ribbon and tie a bow around napkin. Trim ends.


- Cut floral stem short, then bent stem into hook shape. Tuck stem behind bow. Use different floral stems for variety.

I love all the napkin ring ideas and thank you for sharing them. I try to use different napkin ring presentations for my dinner parties and new ideas are always so helpful. Here’s another idea for you that I like to use during the summer. Tie a bit of raffia around your napkin and through a hole in a sea shell. Sometimes I have to gently drill a small hole in the shell but you can find shells with the holes already there, too.
