Blueberry Cream Cheese Strudel

Cream cheese and sweet blueberries in puff pastry makes a delicious light dessert or Saturday morning breakfast.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Strudel
Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
8 oz. cream cheese
¼ cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup blueberry pie filling
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Gather ingredients. Unfold pastry sheet on greased cookie sheet. Use a sharp knife to cut side panels of puff pastry into 1″ strips.

- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.


- Spread mixture down middle of puff pastry. Top with blueberry filling.


- Fold strips across at each end and secure to prevent leaks. Fold up remaining strips at a slight angle, alternating between sides. Bake for 25-30 minutes, then serve warm!

What a delightful recipe. My husband loves blueberries and strudel. The combination will make him ever so happy. Thank you for sharing this yummy recipe.

Kellie, this recipe looks very yummy! My mother always made swedish tea ring for Christmas morning and this reminds me of it…in a yummier, fruiter way! I’ll have to try it soon and see what our boys think
