This sounds so delicious and exactly what I need to use up a few eggs and some tired looking oranges. I shall be baking a few to freeze too. Thanks

What a yummy recipe! Thank you for sharing it with us. I’m going to try it as well as the banana bread recipe.

We really liked the orange spice loaf. I think next time I’ll use a little zest in the loaf itself. My hubby loves orange marmalade. It is one of those items that I purchase particularly for him as he is the only one that really enjoys it. However, mixed with butter it is the perfect compliment to the bread. I even had some of the marmalade butter on my bagel this am. Delish!

I’m glad you enjoyed the bread, Michele! I like the zest idea!

The bread turned out very well and was enjoyed by everyone! I do think it could use a tad more orange flavor in the loaf itself; Michele’s suggestion might take care of that? I took mine out of the oven right at 50 minutes, and it was a bit dry/crumbly, so I might have to experiment with making a more moist loaf… my oven runs a bit hot, though, so maybe just take it out a little earlier next time. At any rate, the blend of spices is just perfect; not too overpowering in the least. Definitely one to keep in my recipe files and make again!
