Ingredients:
Ingredients2 ¼ cups flour
¼ cup brown sugar
1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons ginger
¼ teaspoon cloves
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup molasses
2 cups buttermilk

Instructions:

  1. Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, baking soda, and salt in large bowl. Stir well to combine.

  1. In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Stir in oil and molasses. Add buttermilk. Mix well.

  1. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Batter will be lumpy.

  1. Heat lightly oiled skillet on medium heat. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto skillet.

Pour into skillet

  1. Cook until pancakes have a bubbly surface or until bottom is golden brown. Turn once and finish cooking pancakes.
