Autumn 2007, Page 11 Usher in winter with a colorful banner!

Page 11 of the Autumn 2007 issue of Seasonal Delights featured a project called Autumn Banner. This week we’ll update that activity to highlight the Christmas holiday, making Christmas Banners!

Hang them around your house all season long, or display them for parties.

  • I love this idea! I’m looking around my house right now and my heart is full of joy in realizing that much of what we have that we cherish are those things we make ourselves. So each nook and cranny, each potholder and apron, and every pan that comes out of the oven and so on is something we value as we worked to create it.

  • I love making banners but I often have trouble getting them to stay put - they like to slide around! I’ll try the two hole method next time (I have an oval cutter and that will make it quick and easy!).
    Blessings!
