Tired of leftover turkey? Whether you’re looking for a chance of pace or just something quick as you shop for the holidays, simple and easy French Bread Pizza should fit the bill.
French Bread Pizza
Ingredients:
The “perfect pizza” is a matter of preference, but we used:
French bread
Pizza sauce in a jar
Mozarella cheese, grated
Pepperoni, sliced
Mushrooms, sliced
Red pepper, chopped
Green pepper, chopped
Garlic, minced
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°. Slice a loaf of French bread lengthwise, separating top and bottom.
- Lay both halves on a cookie sheet and spread pizza sauce close to the edges. Add grated cheese in a thick layer.
- For a simple and popular variation, add sliced pepperoni.
- The sky is the limit! You can layer minced garlic, mushroom, green pepper, and red pepper for a “Supreme” pizza.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until cheese is hot and bubbly. Slice across pizza and serve!

It would be nice if you were able to give a pdf option for your blog entries so that we could save to a file (in an easy way) entries such as this French bread pizza. With a pdf option we would be able to save the step-by-step photos with the directions.
Thanks or your wonderful work!

Diana,
It actually takes quite a bit of time to reformat these blog posts into quality PDF files, so I tend to only do that when there’s a lot of demand.
We’re Mac users, so *any* web page can be saved as a PDF file automatically. I keep forgetting not everybody can do that!
