A sweet and buttery side dish to make for an Autumn dinner.

IngredientsIngredients:

1 Acorn squash
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Cut acorn squash in half and scrape out the seeds with a large spoon. Position upright in a baking dish.

  1. In each half, place ½ tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon brown sugar. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  1. Bake for 45-60 minutes or until tender when pricked with a fork. Spoon extra syrup from center of squash over edges. Slice into large wedges and serve.
