Bonus: Gourmet Caramel Apples
We provide a new Recipe of the Week for subscribers every Tuesday morning, but sometimes we come up with something so special, we think it deserves “more.” A wider audience, a special focus, something. Gourmet Caramel Apples are one of those things. Many adults think of caramel apples as little more than a nuisance, a source of trouble with dentistry and messiness. Using the recipe in this guide, we’ve pleased adults (and children) by bringing a childhood delight back to life. Making them might be a bit messy, but eating them shouldn’t be!
For Seasonal Delights subscribers, the 12-page PDF guide is now available, free of charge. Subscribers also receive a $2 discount on printing. Details for subscribers are in the Forum.
If you are not yet a subscriber to Seasonal Delights, now would be a perfect time to join! However, if you’d like to just download this delicious guide to Gourmet Caramel Apples, you can do so via Lulu.com for $3.95. For a print copy of this fine guide with 62 delicious full-color photos, the non-subscriber price is $9.95. (Remember, subscribers get a $2 discount!)

Thanks for the kind comments. We had a lot of fun making these, and they’re *very* popular. The hard part was turning 281 pictures and some hand-written notes (some scribbled while we made the apples) into this guide. It took longer than I expected, but I’m still learning as I go.
Kelli usually has the recipes ironed out very well, and even typed up, and I underestimated how much time that saves.
Now I’m late with this today’s Recipe of the Week, since I just returned from New England myself yesterday, and slept late today. I’ll get it up very soon!

I organized a “ladies night out” event which included making the gourmet caramel apples. Fun was had by all and each lady went home with two apples. (Whether they shared or not, we’ll never know!)
It was fun especially when they saw how easy it was to create such a decadent treat!
Thanks for encouraging us to try new things.

Happy2paint, I’m so glad to hear that the caramel apples were a hit at your ladies event! I had to laugh at your “whether they shared on not…” ;0)
I just stopped by your blog and saw your wonderful pictures, Sharri. Your daughter did a great job!
