Seasonal Delights, Autumn 2007
Download the magazine: Seasonal Delights, Autumn 2007
We are excited to announce the availability of the debut issue of Seasonal Delights! The Autumn 2007 issue is now available to download as a PDF file; just right-click on the download link above or below and choose “Save Link As…” (or equivalent) to save the file to your computer.
It’s 20 full-color pages in a 4.4MB PDF file. Once downloaded, you can read the entire issue using Adobe Reader. (It should already be installed on your computer; Mac OS X users use Preview.)
Use the magnifying glass to zoom in on the pictures. There are 138 full-color photographs (plus 10 pieces of clip art) in this issue!
We recommend printing the puzzle page so you can work on the crossword puzzle and word search with a pencil. If you want to print other pages, please know that this could easily drain one or more color inkjet cartridges! We recommend printing in black-and-white.
Let us know what you think! We’re eager to hear feedback both positive and negative (so we know how to make the Winter issue even better), so please leave comments here or email us at kelli@sdquarterly.com.
Please do not forward your copy of Seasonal Delights to anyone. Simply give them this website address and let them sign up themselves. They can then download their own copy, and will also have access to the other subscribers benefits here at the site.

Hello Kelly,
What a lovely baby you brought forth today!
It is a warm and welcoming issue and not intimidating at all, which is very important to me. I long for the homey things in life, but rarely know how to go around and put the beautiful ideas I see in books, mags and websites into practice. So that is great. I’ll keep you all posted when I get us to do an activity or a dish.
What is best, it comes from a person whose outlook on life I appreciate. I shall make a post later today on my blog about Seasonal Delights. Congratulations.

What a lovely, wonderful piece of work! Just looking at it is a treat! As soon as I get my bnlog up and running again, I’ll put a link to you on it. One question, though - why no Halloween on your calendar?

Never mind - I didn’t realize you were a Christian family. My mistake.
Blessings on your gorgeous venture!

Different people have different convictions about Halloween. To avoid offense, we omitted any mention of either Halloween or All Saints Day in this issue.
Thanks!

Oh, my goodness… Autumn is my favorite season, and to find such a LOVELY magazine, launching in Autumn… I am cozied up on the couch, with a cup of tea and a afgan, enjoying every word! I have never seen anything like it (sometimes a magazine has one or two nice things that I might try, or a recipe or two which sound good… but there is not ONE THING in this issue that I will not try! :o) It is excellent!) WOW! I am so impressed–thank you for the gift subscription! Keep up the good work, and you will have NO PROBLEM selling these~
Harvest Blessings!

One more thought…
THANK YOU SO MUCH for producing such a BEAUTIFUL Autumn product, with no “halloween”… This is AWESOME! We are grateful to not have to weed through those things which we do not enjoy.
September 14th, 2007 at 10:53 pm
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful piece of work you have here. The step by step instructions are awesome! The photos are amazing and the crafts and recipes are just wonderful too! Thank you for the Great Autumn Moments my family will have.
September 16th, 2007 at 7:26 pm
Oh I am sooooo bummed. I am on dial up and it is going to blow my computers innards if I try to download this.
If you decide to produce a print version let me know.
September 16th, 2007 at 10:24 pm
momn4boys, we’re just waiting on a delivery from Lulu.com to make sure that things look perfect, and then you’ll be able to order a print version of the current issue from there.
We plan to send an email to everyone with details on that and the other new things around here soon, so check your inbox!
September 19th, 2007 at 7:55 am
Dial up here too plus I love print copies as I can enjoy them anywhere. Look forward to ordering a print copy :D.
September 19th, 2007 at 9:20 am
The first time we ordered a “proof” from Lulu.com, we ordered on a Tuesday and received it the following Monday.
This time we ordered on the following Tuesday, but very late in the day. While I hoped for it on Monday, I really expected it yesterday. However, it didn’t arrive then, either, so now I really hope it arrives today!
Whenever it arrives, *if* all is well (it wasn’t the first time), then it should be available for ordering the next day or so. As soon as it’s available, I’ll post an update here on the blog.
We’re also working on another major announcement, so once both the print edition and the other thing are ready, we’ll be sending out an email to everyone.

This is so lovely:-) Thank you for sharing! (I also appreciated the lack of Halloween items) This came just in time for Thanksgiving next weekend as I was running low on new ideas ;-), Thanks again,

Kelli and Phillip,
Seasonal Delights is beautiful! We appreciate all the time and work you have put into it. As a school librarian, I can use so many of the articles featured since I try to cover the holidays with the students.
Thank you!

Your magazine is truly exquisite and timely. I know the front states the magazine is for young ladies and their mothers, I plan to use it with boys too in my third grade classroom. The magazine is timely in that the recipes will be a great follow-the-directions activity. Also, we have the black and white journals as pictured in one of the articles; and the kids want to decorate them. What a find!! Thank you so much for a quality product.
